Wednesday Bible Study

“Rooted in Christ”

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7

“Rooted in Christ” is the name for the weekly Bible Study we offer.  This is a time where we seek to develop stronger and deeper roots of faith in Jesus Christ through the study of Holy Scripture.  We meet on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7 PM.  Join us for study, strength and some coffee!

Check out the Church Calendar for our meeting schedule.

Our Current Study:

Habakkuk: Turning Fret into Faith

Habakkuk was a man of God in the Old Testament who was troubled by two main problems: 1) the wickedness of God’s people all around him, and 2) the terrible situation God’s people lived in as they were on the verge of being conquered and exiled.

This little book, tucked away amid the other minor prophets of the Old Testament, offers us a glimpse into the heart and mind of Habakkuk as he struggled before God with the fallen and wicked state of the world around him (and in him!).  In the end, God is faithful.  Eventually Habakkuk’s fret is turned once again into faith in the Living God.
